TRY this.
MAGIC #1
Found that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the Computer which can be named as “CON”. This is something funny and inexplicable?
At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn’t answer why this happened! TRY IT NOW, IT WILL NOT CREATE A “CON” FOLDER.
MAGIC #2
For those of you using Windows, do the following:
1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type “Bush hid the facts” (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.
Noticed the weird bug? No one can explain!
MAGIC #3
Again this is something funny and can’t be explained?
At Microsoft the whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn’t answer why this happened!
It was discovered by a Brazilian. Try it out yourself?
Open Microsoft Word and type
=rand (200, 99)
And then press ENTER And see the magic?..!
Magic #4
Did you know that a flight number from one of the planes that hit one of the two WTC towers on 9/11 was Q33N. In Notepad / WordPad or MS Word, type that flight number i.e Q33N. Increase the font size to 72. Change the font to Wingdings. ….. u will be amazed by the findings!!!
Hoax or Fact:
Most of it is fact, with definite reasons behind it, but the last magic is a hoax.
Analysis:
The magic messages mentioned above hold true. But each of it has definite explanation.
1. CON is a reserved word in the Windows and the underlying DOS system, that is why we cannot create a folder with that name. However, if you still need to create one, you can either do it using command prompt, or simply with this trick – create a folder and rename it by pressing Alt and type 255 from num pad, release the Alt key and then type con. You are done.
2. Bush hid the facts is a common name for a bug present in some Microsoft Windows applications, which causes a file of text encoded in ASCII. See the reference for further details.
3. That syntax is a special code for seeing how a font or typeface looks on screen. It is used to test word documents, as filler text and also to test fonts. The first number represents the amount of lines, and the second the amount of times the sentence is printed per line. The sentence “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” contains all the 26 letters of the roman alphabet. Therefore, it is used as a convenient test phrase while testing these things like fonts and markup. It was programmed by Microsoft as a test text.
4. The magic is valid, but the flight number is a lie, those are not the flight numbers of the one that hit Twin Towers. The flight numbers were United Airlines Flight 175 and American Airlines flight 11. These, if shortened, would be UA175 and AA11. Q33N is just an interesting coincidence in notepad.
