Download Nougat 7.0 rom for Nexus 5 [Hammerhead]

Google just released the official Android nougat 7.0 for mostly all the Nexus device but only one device left behind that is Google Nexus 5 that didn’t get official Android nougat 7.0 update but luckily thanks to Xda dev santosh for building AOSP rom for Nexus 5 based on Android nougat 7.0 this means it will also get cm14 rom in future soon.

As the rom is still in alpha stage so don’t expect much stable Android nougat rom for it yet below are the known issue on Android nougat 7.0 for Nexus 5.

Known problems with the Nexus 5 Nougat ROM:

• Bluetooth
• Camera
• Much more.

What works?

• Wifi
• RIL
• Audio (works for calls & basics. Haven’t checked music)
• Other stuff which I might not have mentioned under not working

So if are aware of custom roms and flashing roms via twrp recovery then you can try this rom for sure, and if you are new to it, I don’t suggest you to install Android nougat 7.0 custom rom on Nexus 5.

#Requirements

1.Need to have TWRP recovery installed on your device.

2.Your device should be charged at least 50%.

3.Some patience.

#How to install android Nougat 7.0 on Nexus 5

1.Download  android nougat 7.0 rom zip file for Nexus 5 from Here.(check for the source link below for updated links)

2.Now place the nougat 7.0 rom file in internal storage.

3.Now reboot to TWRP Recovery mode.

4.Clear cache,Clear Data and full system wipe then flash android nougat 7.0 rom  from recovery.

5.Now again Clear cache and Clear Data once done.

6.Reboot your device.Done! you just flash Android Nougat 7.0 rom on nexus 5 [hammerhead]
